Introduction
Welcome to our engagement website, which sets out our proposals for land at Abbey Fields, Faversham.
We are in the process of preparing an outline planning application for residential development of potentially up to 240 new homes, extensive open space, and potentially community allotments.
Our consultation with residents is part of our wider engagement with other stakeholders, which has included discussions with:
- Faversham Town Council
- Swale Borough Council
- Kent County Council Highways
We will shortly be submitting our planning application to Swale Borough Council. Ahead of this, we are inviting residents to view our proposals.
The planning application will be provided in outline, with a detailed access design. Notably, this means that the exact layout, scale and design of homes, along with the landscaping, is not approved at this stage; rather, the strategy and key considerations are fixed on a parameter plan (see the Proposals page for further information).
The purpose of this website is to provide information on our proposals and seek comments from residents. The consultation is open from 1st April 2026 to 14th April 2026.
